Sach Pass Trek

Sach Pass Trek is a journey that promises deep and refreshing communion with nature in its varying beauty. This trek though the lush river valleys surrounded by snow-capped peaks, the fruit-laden orchards, gurgling streams, dense forests, and ancient temples with birdsong enchant any and every trekker mesmerising him to its beauty.

Day 01: Delhi - Manali - Sach Pass Trek

Half day sight seeing at Delhi and by evening drive to Manali by Bus or Cab. Overnight journey.

Day 02: Manali - Sach Pass Trek

Arrival at Manali by morning. On arrival transfer to hotel for relax. After leisure visit Hadimba Devi temple, old Manali, Tibetan Monastery and the Mall road. Dinner and overnight stay at hotel.

Day 03: Manali - Udaipur - Raoli - Sach Pass Trek

On fourth day of Manali - Chamba - Sach Pass Trek, we drive for around 7-8 hours to reach Raoli.

Day 04: Raoli - Sach (2150 mts/7052 ft) - Sach Pass Trek

Next destination of trek is Sach, where we reach after 6 hours trek and en route we visit temples with wood-carvings. The splendid temples and the antiquities in this region could not have been possible but for some of the enlightened and religious rulers of Chamba. This region was also lucky that it did not face the problem of a ruthless destruction by invaders or internal disruption. Overnight in Sach.

Day 05: Sach - Kilar - Sach Pass Trek

We trek through green forest with spectacular views to reach Kilar. Overnight in Kilar.

Day 06: Kilar – Bindrabani (2800 mts/9184 ft) - Sach Pass Trek

We steeply descend to reach Chenab River and then we ascend to reach Bindrabani. On route, we have serene and beautiful views of many virgin peaks, hanging glaciers and towering rocky mountains. Overnight in Bindrabani.

Day 07: Bindrabani - Bagotu (3600 mts/11810 ft) - Sach Pass Trek

On the 8th day of Manali - Chamba - Sach Pas Trek, we climb for about 2.5 hours to reach Duna Sarai (2500 mts.) and then 3 hours further to Bagotu. Bagotu is sort of an "island" in the glacier. We cross two stone huts on way and pitch our tents or alternately we spend the night in the huts, spreading our sleeping bags on floor of the huts. Overnight in Bagotu.

Day 08: Bagotu - Satrundi (3400 mts/11152 ft) - Sach Pass Trek

Trek continues with a 4-hour steep ascent to Sach Pass and then 2 hours down to camp. Overnight in camp.

Day 09: Satrundi - Traila (2000 mts/6560 ft) - Sach Pass Trek

We continue early morning by going down to Alwas and then another 3 hours to reach Traila. Overnight in Traila.

Day 10: Traila - Chamba (996 mts/3267 ft) - Sach Pass Trek

We drive from Traila to Chamba. Overnight in Chamba.

Day 11: Chamba – Pathankot - Delhi - Sach Pass Trek

After breakfast drive for Pathankot to catch Jhelum Express for New Delhi at 23:55 hrs. Over night journey.
